Hi Caleb Wow! This poem is awesome! I love it! I am really impressed. I really liked the line about not having fish and chips, as I bet they were missed by a lot of families these holidays! You look really happy in the photo with your baby sister. Did you get to go on a few bike rides in the holidays?
Great poem Caleb, especially the bit about fish n chips mmmm I have not eaten them in ages either. Your bike ride looks like it might be fun. Did Emilee go too?
Kia ora Caleb, Well done on creating this blogpost about the things that you didn’t get to do in the holidays. You have done an excellent job writing down all of the activities that you didn’t get to do, and I really like the image you have included of you going for a bike ride! I noticed that there are three people in your image. Who are the other two people in the picture? I also noticed in the image that you have a cool mohawk-spike on your helmet. Where did you get this helmet from, and does the spike make it difficult to balance? Going to the army and flying to Australia would have been such exciting ways to spend your school holidays, so it was a bit of a shame that you had to stay indoors. I am sure you managed to find plenty of ways to have fun and keep yourself entertained though! What activities did you do during the holidays? Apart from bike rides, did you leave the house for any other forms of exercise (walking, running, skateboarding etc.)? What was your favourite day of the school holidays and why? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! Keep up the great blogging! Nga mihi
